Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi celebrated former President Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.
Jonathan clocked 65 years of age on Sunday, November 20.
Taking to his official Twitter handle to celebrate him, Obi paid glowing tributes to the former president, describing him as a man of peace, nobility, and honour.
He said Jonathan remains a great blessing to “our nation.”
According to him, the Otuoke-born politician is a true leader, who gave up his political ambition for the sake of national peace and progress.
The former Anambra governor opined that as a patriot, Jonathan remains committed to the unity and development of Nigeria.
He further noted that as a lover of mankind, Jonathan’s positive impacts on people, institutions, and organisations are continually felt, not just in Nigeria, but on the global stage.
He prayed to God to continually bless the former president with abundant health of mind and body, protect him always and give him the grace to continue to make great positive impacts in society
