The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has condoled with music star, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma on the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Ifeanyi was said to have drowned at their home in Banana Island, Lagos.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Tuesday morning, Atiku prayed to God to strengthen and comfort Davido and Chioma’s family.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Lagos State Police Command confirmed Ifeanyi’s death, saying eight domestic staff of the singer have been brought in for questioning in connection with the death of the three-year-old boy.
Spokesman of the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin said the domestic workers’ narrations would assist the command in ascertaining the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s death.
