Ghanaian Singer And Socialite, Hajia4real Reportedly Arrested For $8 Million Fraud In UK

Ghanaian socialite and singer, Mona Fiaz Montrage, popularly known as Hajia4Real, has reportedly been arrested for fraud in London, the United Kingdom.

It was gathered that the socialite had visited London on October, 31, for the Ghana Music Awards in UK, before she was arrested over her alleged involvement in an $8 million fraud.

Hajia4Real has already been banned from the US, and her Instagram activities in recent days show that she’s under scrutiny, especially when she eventually deleted some posts.

Ghanaian media personality, Olele Salvador said the socialite was arrested through a collaboration between the US and the UK as she had been on a “red list” in the US for some time now.

Ghanaian media outlets allege that Hajia4Real was a “middle-man” for internet fraudsters, adding that she had been picked up for questioning as of now.

Latest information reaching DTS suggests that Hajia4Reall has/had been on a ‘red list’ in the USA.

Her apprehension in the UK is allegedly a joint operation between the security agencies of both countries.

Further sources reveal she was picked up for questioning.

This comes a few days after Nigerian celebrity fraudster, Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years in prison for defrauding over 1.9 million people, and ordered to pay $1,7m in restitution to two fraud victims.
