JUST IN: Court Remands Doctor Olufemi Olaleye Over Alleged Rape

An Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court have remanded the medical doctor of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr. Olufemi Olaleye, over the alleged defilement of his wife’s 15-year-old niece.

Doctor Olufemi Olaleye Remanded Over Alleged Rape

The court remanded the 57-year-old medical doctor on Wednesday after he took his plea on a two-count charge bordering on the defilement of a child and sexual assault by penetration preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.

Olufemi Olaleye pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him and was granted bail of N50m with two sureties in like sum.

Recall that the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution had on Monday, 21 November arraigned, Dr. Olaleye, for the alleged defilement of his wife’s niece.

He was arraigned in the case ‘State of Lagos vs Dr. Olufemi Olaleye,’.
