The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a lone rider on an unregistered scooter at Glover junction.

The scooter rider was arrested by patrol officers of the Adeniji Adele Division of the state police command.

This was disclosed in a tweet by the Spokesman of the police command, Benjamin Hundeyin.

Hundeyin said when the officers searched the handbag of the rider, a locally made semi-automatic pistol and a round of live ammunition were recovered.

He said the suspect has been moved to Police Headquarters, Ikeja for in-depth investigation.

Yesterday, at about 0050hrs, vigilant patrol officers of Adeniji Adele Division spotted a lone rider on an unregistered scooter at Glover junction.
