The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested a 26-year-old man, who faked a medical licence in his name and has been practicing as a medical doctor since January 2022.
This was disclosed in a tweet by the command’s Spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin on his handle on Saturday.
Hundeyin commended “public-spirited Lagosians who spotted him and promptly informed the Police,” adding that “You have saved lives. If you see something, say something.”
While answering an enquiry on his tweet, the police spokesman said the suspect was a medical student but dropped out of school after some years
“Smart you. He dropped out after some years of studying Medicine,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported how operatives the of Rapid Response Squad (RSS) arrested a 52-year-old man with two Pump action guns concealed under the rear seat compartment of his car.
Delta State Police Command Spokesman, Bright Edafe said the suspect was arrested by the operatives while on Stop and Search duty at the Headbridge, a gateway to the east, on November 20th.
