Spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe stated this in a short tweet on his handle on Tuesday evening.
Edafe said the two suspects were arrested on Christmas Eve on a Keke with some cartridges.
According to him, the duo confessed to being members of a five-man kidnapping gang terrorising Warri and its environs.
He disclosed that the duo led the police to their hideout where one AK49 rifle and one locally made double barrel gun were recovered.
“In an attempt to escape, they jumped out of the Hilux van, the Police chased and maimed them to prevent escape, and the two suspects gave up the ghost while they were being taken to the hospital,” he disclosed.
“Manhunt for the other members of the gang is ongoing.”
