Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reacted to the killing of a female lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, in the Ajah area of Lagos on Sunday by a police officer.
Sanwo-Olu vowed to ensure that justice prevails in the murder of Raheem.
The governor stated this in a statement on his Twitter handle on Monday evening.
Sanwo-Olu also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
He tweeted, “With utter shock and sadness, I received the news of the unfortunate and avoidable death of Barrister Bolanle Raheem at the hands of a police officer at Ajiwe.
“My condolence to her family, friends, and associates. I can assure you that justice will be served. Nothing will be spared under the Laws of Lagos State until justice is served speedily and adequately.”
