Spokesman of the Lagos state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a short tweet on his handle on Monday.

Hundeyin disclosed that the two men were intercepted at about 1 am on Monday in a Mitsubishi Lancer car by the command’s patrol team from Ijora Badia Division.

According to him, an investigation into the case is ongoing.

He wrote, “At about 1 am today, a patrol team from Ijora Badia Division intercepted a Mitsubishi Lancer car conveying vandalized railway tracks.

“The two occupants of the vehicle have been arrested. An investigation is ongoing.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that many passengers were left stranded last week Friday when the Abuja-Kaduna train derailed at Kubwa.
