A young man has been flogged publicly after he was caught stealing a bunch of plantain at Elebele community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The newly appointed Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman, Okala Precious Peter, who disclosed this on his Facebook page, said the man was flogged on Monday.
Sharing photos of the suspects being flogged after he was caught with the plantain, Peter wrote “What a way to kick-off my duties.”
