Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi has died on Sunday.
It was gathered that Murphy Afolabi died on Sunday, May 14, after falling in his bathroom and hitting his head on the floor.
Althought the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed, a colleague of the deceased in the Yoruba subsector of the Nollywood, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, has confirmed the sad news.
Ola-Yusuf, a well-known actor, director and producer, took to his Facebook page on Sunday afternoon to mourn Afolabi who ceelebrated his birthday on Friday. May 5.
Sharing a photo of the deceased, Ola-Yusuf, wrote: “REST IN PEACE… May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss. Good night Muphy Afolabi.”
Murphy Afolabi’s passing in coming less than 24 hours after the news filtered out about the death of another popular actor, Saint Obi.
