Many Nigerians speculated in response to Davido’s performance that the new governor was a waste of resources given the amount of money that may have been spent to get the artist to the event.
In a Twitter response to his criticism, Davido stated that he was not paid to perform.
“Not a single penny.” “I’ve known Excellency (Alex Otti) my entire life, and I’m confident he will serve the people of Abia State well,” he added.
