A Nigerian man, simply called Morgan has recounted how his girlfriend (GF) served him “breakfast” in what can be called the most cruel and disrespectful manner.
The term “breakfast” is a pseudonym for heartbreak or disappointment in a relationship.
Morgan recounted in a reaction to a tweet by a Twitter influencer, Jon Doe.
Doe had tweeted and asked men to narrate their worst heartbreak story and how they reacted.
He also asked to find out if they have recovered from the heartbreak.
The tweet reads, “Late night thread.
Men, tell us about your worst heartbreak story. How did you react?
Have you recovered ever since? Your comments 👇.”
Taking to the comment section of the tweet, Morgan said he had tried reaching his girlfriend on the phone for a whole week to no avail.
He, however, made success the following week as he was able to reach her.
He explained to her that he was worried he could not reach but she informed him that she had travelled to the village.
According to Morgan, she told him she was going to explain some things to him later, but that would, unfortunately, be the worst shock of his life.
He said his girlfriend then posted her traditional marriage pictures on her status the next minute.
Morgan further disclosed that the both of them have not spoken to each other for two years now, adding that he has not fully recovered.
He wrote, “Her phone wasn’t reachable for a week, the following week I called her & told her I was worried. She said she traveled to the village and she’ll explain later.
“The next minute chiamaka posted her traditional marriage pic on her status😭
We’ve not talked 2 each other since den (2 years now) I’ve not fully recovered.”
