As his eight-year comes to an end, Buhari humorously remarked that Nigerians are more difficult to lead than his livestock.

During his speech at the State House Conference Centre in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Muhammadu Buhari emphasized his eagerness to return to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, and tend to his cattles and sheep on his farm.

He also revealed his plans to downsize his livestock due to financial constraints after leaving office, as he anticipates a decrease in funds available for purchasing feed.

He said:

“I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base to go and meet my cattle and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians. But I have to reduce their number, because I cannot save enough to buy them feeds.”
