David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a Nigerian afrobeats singer, has described how his rich father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, once detained him, show promoters, and fans who attended an event where he was scheduled to perform.
He claimed that his father detained everyone at the event because he skipped school to pursue music against his father’s wishes.
The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ singer claimed the incident occurred early in his career.
He mentioned this on Friday night, while making his Channel 4 debut on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.
