Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to social media to congratulate his senior colleague, Banky W for winning his contest at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Primaries.
Davido Hails Banky W
The musician, whose real name is Olubankole Wellington, was declared the winner of the Eti-Osa House of Representative ticket for the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Banky W had a landslide victory on Monday to clinch the ticket after polling 28 out of 31 votes cast by delegates at the primary.
Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday, Davido declared his support for Banky W, charging Nigerians to get up and make a change rather than sit at home and complain.
He wrote, “Congrats @BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain, get up and make a change.”
