Lady Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Married Lover in Ogun State

The Ogun State police have apprehended a young lady, going by the name Alice, for her alleged involvement in the fatal stabbing of Ayinde Isreal, her married lover. The incident occurred in the Itori Ewekoro area of the state.

According to information gathered by Kanyi Daily, Isreal’s wife had left for their family’s residence to celebrate the Ileya festival, taking their one-year-old child along. Seizing the opportunity, Isreal extended an invitation to his illicit partner, inviting her over to his matrimonial home.

A reliable source disclosed that an argument broke out between the two, escalating to a point where Alice reportedly resorted to using a knife. Tragically, Isreal sustained a fatal stab wound to his neck during the altercation, which transpired on the evening of Tuesday, June 27.

“The gentleman was married, and his wife had departed for his family’s home to celebrate the Ileya festival. However, on the very same day, he brought his side chick to their marital residence,” the source revealed.

“He and the side chick encountered issues, leading to the girl stabbing him in the neck. We rushed him to two different hospitals, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries,” the source added.

Presently, the suspect is in custody at the Ifo police station in Ogun State, as investigations into the incident are underway. The tragic event has left the community in shock, as residents grapple with the disturbing news of a life lost in a domestic dispute.
