Muyiwa Awoniyi, her manager, announced the plaque’s arrival on Friday via his Instagram story.
He displayed the Grammy prize plaque on his Instagram account with no caption.
Tems is the first female Nigerian musician to receive a Grammy nomination.
She is also the first female Nigerian singer to receive a Grammy nomination. Last year, she was nominated for Best Global Performance for her smash song ‘Essence’ with Wizkid, but she lost to Pakistan’s Arooj Aftab.
