Actress Kate Henshaw Slam Those Criticizing Her For Meeting Governor Sanwa-Olu

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has taken to social media to address those criticizing her for meeting Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Despite her vocal criticism of the All Progressive Congress (APC), the political party to which Sanwo-Olu belongs, Kate Henshaw was recently seen exchanging pleasantries with him at an event.

Photos of the event triggered outrage from APC supporters who believed that the actress was aligning herself with a party she had rejected for the Labor Party during the 2023 general elections.

Reacting to the backlash via her Twitter page, Kate Henshaw clarified her position, explaining that a polite greeting at a public event does not hinder her from criticizing ineffective leadership.

She wrote: “Clearly, I have gotten ur knickers in a twist & and the itch is too much for you 2 ignore, just like I am too important to ignore.

“I won’t bother to explain becos it is far above your pay grade. Mr Gov knows the exchange we had. It won’t stop me speaking my mind.”

KanyiDaily recalls that during the 2023 elections, Kate Henshaw has taken to social media to call out Rasheedat Adu, the chairman of Eti-Osa local government area in Lagos.
