Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has expressed her dislike for the actions of Happie Boys, former security guys working at Chicken Republic.

KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys gained attention on social media in June when they called out Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who had sponsored their education in Cyprus.

The duo, Matthew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson criticized the clergyman for ending their scholarship six months after their arrival in Cyprus and abandoning them in the foreign country.

In his defense, Apostle Chibuzor explained that he stopped sending them money due to the scarcity of dollars in Nigeria and suggested that the boys return to Nigeria or Benin Republic to continue their education.

However, Happie Boys declined the offer and expressed their preference to remain in Cyprus. They also apologized to the cleric and thanked him for his scholarship program.

In a recent video circulating on social media, the boys taunted Apostle Chibuzor for telling them that he had paid for their return tickets from Cyprus.

’Them nor born you OPM. Comot for there,” One of them said when a Nigerian man asked them if they will be returning back home as planned by the clergyman.

Reacting to the drama, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman expressed his displeasure with this development during one of his sermons.

He warned Happie Boys not to drag the OPM pastor again or respond to his criticism against them, vowing to personally bring them back to Nigeria should they defy his advice.

The cleric warned, “I know Cyprus very well. I know how to bring them back. I’m not joking. And if they’re watching me now and I hear pim from them, I’ll bring them back.

“How can a man of God collapse because of you? How can you open your mouth….somebody who helped you. You’re doing video against this man. This man helped you for Christ’s sake.

“I have told you in the church, anybody who you have eaten from, even if they hurt you tomorrow, walk away; leave it for Jesus.”

Reacting on her Instagram page, Rita Edochie condemned the actions of Happie Boys and expressed gratitude to Apostle Suleman for speaking out on the matter.

The actress acknowledged that some might view helping others as futile due to the possibility of being let down, but she affirmed that such negativity wouldn’t stop them from extending a helping hand to the less privileged.

She wrote; “THANK YOU SO MUCH APOSTLE SULEIMAN FOR THIS.. THESE BOYS REALLY WANT TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT HELPING SOMEONE DOES NOT PAY ANY MORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE PULLED DOVWN AT THE END OF THE DAY BUT THAT WILL NOT STOP US FROM HELPING PEOPLE”

KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys were recently seen in a video entertaining guests at a club in Cyprus after they refused to return back to Nigeria.
