Lagos Police Arrest Syndicate Producing Fake Engine Oil

A syndicate producing fake engine oil has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command.

Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a terse statement posted on his official X handle on Thursday.

Hundeyin did not, however, state where and when the syndicate was arrested.

He said they would be prosecuted after investigations.

Sharing videos, he said “#LagosPoliceNG operatives arrested this syndicate that specialized in counterfeiting popular brands of engine oil. They will be prosecuted at the conclusion of investigations.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured the conviction of one person for claiming ownership of a property under forfeiture and seven others for internet fraud.
