On Sunday, Novak Djokovic created history by winning his fourth US Open.

US Open: Djokovic claims historic 24th Grand Slam 3
It was also the 24th Grand Slam title for Federer.

Djokovic defeated Danil Medvedev in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), and 6-3.

As a result, he becomes the Open Era’s oldest US Open champion.

The Serbian, 36, earned his third Grand Slam championship of the year after winning the Australian Open and the French Open.

His sole blemish was a five-set loss against Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.

Medvedev denied Djokovic a rare calendar Grand Slam two years ago at the US Open.
