According to report, Ngannou lost a contentious decision against Fury in their boxing bout on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia, despite knocking the WBC heavyweight championship holder down in Round 3.
In a post-match interview with IU, the Cameroonian star stated that he knew if the match went to a decision, he would not win because it was his debut.
“If he [Fury] is being honest, he would say I won that fight,” Ngannou remarked. There’s no doubt about it: I won the fight.
“But before getting here, I know that if the fight get to decisions, I’m not winning not because I didn’t do good but because I’m a new guy in the house.”
