The judge, Justice Rahman Oshodi on Tuesday ruled that the victim’s testimony and the medical professional who examined her were credible.
He added that Olaleye’s confessional statement and exchange of WhatsApp and email messages with his wife served as compelling evidence against him.
According to Justice Oshodi, the victim was raped and made to suck the defendant’s manhood, including forced sexual acts, as substantiated by the statement and legal documents signed at the Anthony Police Station, in the presence of his lawyer Olalekan Buruji, and his NBA seal.
Oshodi found Olaleye guilty of the serious charges of defilement and sexual penetration involving a 15-year-old minor.
The judge held that the prosecution successfully demonstrated its case beyond any reasonable doubt, with all the evidence presented in court aligning with the victim’s account of the traumatic events.
Kanyi Daily recalls that Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw had taken to social media to call out the founder of Optimal Healthcare Company, Dr. Femi Olaleye, for allegedly raping his wife’s 15-year-old niece.
