During a Twitter space, Debbie accused Mercy Eke and Promise of failing to pay her N1 million, which was meant for purchasing premium ICU votes in support of the reality star.
Debbie revealed that Promise responded by threatening her for speaking out about the debt.
She further explained that Promise refused to settle the debt, justifying her stance by pointing out that her sister didn’t secure first place in the competition, finishing as the runner-up.
Debbie’s claims have been met with mixed reactions as some fans claimed that Mercy Eke had left behind N4 million to purchase votes in her bid to win the show.
Following the BBNaija All Stars show, Promise had criticized the organizers after her sister’s second-place finish. She claimed that both herself and the “mercenaries” had worked diligently to secure a victory for the reality star.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mercy Eke recently retracted her previous statements regarding having a rich boyfriend who offered her N120 million to discourage her from participating in the BBNaija show.
