Peter Obi Should Help Mr Ibu, He Danced And Campaigned For Him – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has urged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to pay the medical bills of ailing Nollywood actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Ibu was recently seen on the hospital bed, appealing to the public for financial support and prayers while expressing concern that his legs might be amputated.

Reacting on his Instagram page, Reno Omokri expressed sympathy for Mr. Ibu’s condition and encouraged his followers to contribute to a specified bank account for his medical expenses.

He, however, pointed out that the actor had publicly endorsed Peter Obi, and actively supported his campaign, even going as far as dancing with his daughter and campaigning on the streets.

The presidential aide also mentioned that Peter Obi had made claims about his wealth compared to that of United States President, Joe Biden at the time.

Omokri suggested that it would be appropriate for Peter Obi to pay Ibu’s medical bills and expressed surprise that the politician had not acknowledged the actor’s situation on his recent birthday.

He wrote, “I sympathise with John Ikechukwu Okafor, AKA Mr. Ibu, over his ailment, and I urge all #RenosNuggeteers to donate to the account number he put out. Please do not ignore his cries for help. I also urge members of the public to donate.

“However, this is a man who publicly endorsed Peter Obi. He and his daughter danced for Peter Obi and broke the Internet. They went out on the streets campaigning for Obi. The same Peter Obi who boasted that he is richer than President Biden of the US, who at the time of Peter’s boast was worth $8.2 million.

“After all that John Okafor did for him, perhaps Mr. Peter Obi can support him by paying Mr. Ibu’s medical bills. I am even surprised that Peter Obi did not remember to post about Mr. Ibu on his birthday yesterday. Even at that, Peter Obi should help him in his time of need. #TableShaker.”

KanyiDaily recalls that singer Peter Okoye had also emphasized that Nollywood legends like Mr Ibu deserve better lives, urging people to show love to the ailing actor for bringing joy to screens over the years.
