Nigerian singer and songwriter, Peruzzi has denied reports claiming he wrote songs for Grammy-winning artist, Burna Boy.

KanyiDaily recalls that Peruzzi recently boasted on social media that he had written over 252 songs for the Nigerian music industry.

Reacting to to development, a Netizen claimed that Burna Boy’s hit song was written by Peruzzi and criticized the Grammy winning-artist for allegedly using many songwriters while his fans hailed him for his lyrical prowess, referring to them as “lost children.”

The social media user also accused Burna Boy of frequently sampling other artists’ songs and warned that Peruzzi might cease to write for him.

Responding to the claims on Snapchat, Peruzzi denied these assertions, firmly stating he had no part in creating Burna Boy’s acclaimed tracks.

He wrote, “Lmao don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do!”
