Governor Bello disclosed his acceptance of the Appeal Court’s decision to State House correspondents following his participation in a meeting of the Police Council presided by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He called on the people, particularly those from Kogi Central, to respect the court’s ruling and uphold the law.
Governor Bello said that Akpoti-Uduaghan and Abubakar Saddiq, who has now lost his seat as senator, and himself are family, and do not need to quarrel.
He said that it was his duty to maintain peace and harmony among all residents in the state.
The governor appealed to citizens to stay prepared for the upcoming November 11 gubernatorial election, expressing confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would secure a landslide victory.
