Joseph Aloba had said that he was not informed about Mohbad’s wedding to Omawunmi, stressing that he was under the impression they were going for his late son’s introduction ceremony before his son’s passing.
He said that upon arriving at the venue and seeing a large gathering, he realized it was a traditional wedding where Wunmi’s bride price was paid.
Admist the controversy trailing the claim, photos and a video from the late singer’s wedding to his wife have surfaced online and sparked reactions.
In one of the photos, Mohbad’s dad was seen with his estranged wife, and Wunmi, who sat in their middle, a sign of acceptance in Yoruba tradition.
Another photos depicted Wunmi holding Mohbad sharing intimate moments, including dancing and sitting together during the traditional ceremony.
The photos and video have triggered a lot of reactions with some people opining that Mohbad’s father appeared well-dressed for someone who claimed he was unaware of the ceremony.
Many people called out the singer’s father for being wicked and denying his son’s wife, while others criticized those insulting Mohbad’s father, stating that he might not have been intentionally left out of the loop by his late son.
Mohbad’s father had previously dropped several allegations against Wunmi bordering on infidelity and maltreating her late husband.
