Nigerian online personality DJ Chicken has issued a public apology to Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.

This comes after DJ Chicken’s controversial remarks, where he not only expressed ill wishes towards Wizkid but also disrespected the memory of the singer’s late mother, Jane Dolapo.

In a video circulating on social media, DJ Chicken can be seen vehemently criticizing Wizkid, claiming that the singer’s fortunes have irreversibly declined. He went as far as suggesting that Wizkid’s music quality had deteriorated and predicted his imminent downfall.

DJ Chicken made inappropriate comments about Wizkid’s late mother, insinuating that the singer would soon join her in the grave. He also expressed disappointment with the singer over alleged financial grievances.
