“Our Red Line rail will be unveiled in February. We have written officially to Mr President to come and help us unveil it in February this year,” Sanwo-Olu said
In December 2023, Sanwo-Olu unveiled the Ikeja Overpass of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit Red Line
While revealing the overpass, Sanwo-Olu expressed hope that the 95% completed Red Line rail would be unveiled by Tinubu before the end of the first quarter of 2024.
He added that when operational, the Red Line rail is projected to carry around 500,000 passengers on a daily basis.
