Why E-Money Promised To Raise Late Junior Pope’s Children

Nigerian businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has promised to take care of the children of the late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo.

KanyiDaily recalls that Junior Pope, along with three others, recently lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie shoot.

Expressing his condolences, on Instagram E-Money revealed that Junior Pope’s final words were about ensuring the future of his three sons.

The businessman vowed to honor the late actor’s wish by taking on the responsibility of raising his children, stressing that he considers Junior Pope as not just a friend, but also as a brother.

E-Money said that Junior Pope’s children would find comfort within his family, promising to nurture them according to their father’s wishes.

The businessman acknowledged the significant void left by Junior Pope’s absence and affirmed that his memory would be cherished forever.

He wished Junior Pope eternal peace and blessings, extending his prayers to encompass the late actor’s family and all those who held him dear.

“It has been one week since you departed from this world, leaving behind a profound sense of loss that reverberates not only among us but also across Africa and beyond. Your presence as both a friend and a brother is deeply missed, JP,” he wrote.

The weight of your absence bears heavily upon our hearts, yet we draw comfort from the belief that God will grant us the resilience to carry forward and uphold the legacy you entrusted to us.

“We tenderly remember your final words in the boat “na only me dem born, I get 3 children na I go raise them” and we solely commit to honoring that vow. Your children now find solace in the embrace of the Okonkwo family and we, as members of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wished.

“Your absence leaves a palpable void, JP, and your memory will forever be held dear. Rest peacefully, knowing that you are deeply cherished and may God’s blessings encompass your soul, your family and hold you in their hearts.”

KanyiDaily recalls that movie producer, Adanma Luke recently revealed that Junior Pope was offered a life jacket but declined it due to its dirty condition.
