Portable was apprehended on Tuesday for allegedly not fulfilling a debt he owed after purchasing a Mercedes Benz GLE 350 from Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos), a car dealer in Lagos.
Reports indicated that Portable only paid N13 million of the N27 million total cost of the vehicle and refused to pay the remaining N14 million.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that Portable spent the night in their cell and remains in police custody as he has not provided a reliable surety yet.
“He has presented no reliable surety yet so he (Portable) is still with us,” a newspaper quoted Hundeyin on Wednesday
