“Social Media Makes Us Forget Some People Are Not Our Age Mate” – Sabinus Tackles VeryDarkMan

Nigerian skit maker, Sabinus has expressed frustration over the lack of respect shown to elders by younger people on social media.

His comments come amidst the ongoing feud between social media activist VeryDarkMan and actress Iyabo Ojo.

VeryDarkMan recently caused a stir by claiming that Iyabo Ojo, Papaya Ex, and other skit makers were only invited to Davido’s after-party, and that Nkechi Blessing was almost turned away.

These comments sparked outrage and responses, including from Iyabo Ojo’s partner, Paul Okoye, also known as Paul O.

Reacting to the controversy, Sabinus lamented how social media has made many forget that not everyone online is their age mate.

The comedian, who spoke via his Instagram story, emphasized that respect is reciprocal and that there is life beyond social media.

He said, “Social media don really make us forget say most people are not our age mates, no matter what always remember respect is reciprocal and we have a life after social media again Kai no respect”

KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana also urged bloggers to stop giving attention to young people who disrespect elders on social media.
