“Come And Collect Your Bride Price” – Jude Ighalo’s Ex-Wife, Sonia Tells Him

Sonia Adesuwa, the ex-wife of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has asked him to come and collect the bride price he paid for their traditional marriage.

In a post shared on her Instagram stories, Sonia Adesuwa said that she had arranged for the bride price to be collected years ago, but Jude Ighalo’s family failed to attend.

She also noted that despite organizing an elaborate farewell party, her financial efforts were wasted because her ex-husband’s family showed disrespect by not arriving on time.

The mother of three emphasized that Jude’s older brother had claimed he was too intimidated by her father to visit him.

Sonia has now requested that Jude’s family, specifically Sir Clement Ighalo, send representatives to collect the bride price.

She wrot, “Make plans to collect your bride price. Remember when I planned this three or four years ago, but your family did not turn up?

“After planning a lovely farewell party with lots of food and entertainment, you all wasted my money. Knowing that my father was the sole sponsor of our traditional marriage, your mother’s children disrespected him and his elders by keeping them waiting.

“Ymir older brother then claimed (as quoted by you in Dubai) that he was afraid of my father and couldn’t visit his home.

“Please send your village representativesor nry esteemed Sir Clement Ighalo. who is first in charge, to collect the bride price. Donn Sir.”

This comes hours after Sonia Adesuwa responded to Jude Ighalo after he accused her of being obsessed about him and advised her to “move on and find peace”.
