President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged all parties involved in the upcoming Edo State governorship elections to maintain peace and sportsmanship.

The election, set for Saturday, September 21, 2024, prompted the president to call on candidates, political parties, and their supporters to respect the democratic process and the will of the people.

This message was conveyed in a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
