Reactions As House of Reps Member’s Wife “Empower” Bauchi Youths With Sugar Cane

Hajiya Fatima Aminu Aliyu Garu, the wife of Honorable Aminu Aliyu Garu, who represents Bauchi State in the House of Representatives, has gone viral online over her recent empowerment initiative.

An X user, Abdulrahmam Sanusi alleged that Hajiya Garu distributed sugar cane to empower the youths in her constituents.

A photo circulating online shows the house of reps wember’s wife posing with some youths and sugar cane bunches.

After the photo went viral, many Nigerians reacted with amusement, questioning how giving out sugar cane could empower the community.
