The National Grid has collapsed once again, plunging Nigeria back into darkness.
According to a post on the Nigeria National Grid’s official X account, the latest failure happened at exactly 2:49 pm.
This marks the 10th grid collapse in 2024.

This comes barely three weeks after the national grid collapsed twice under 24 hours, leaving many areas without power.
