Nigerian Army Declares Nine Wanted For Terrorism In North-East

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has issued a wanted notice for nine people linked to terrorism and violent extremism in the North-East.

Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, made the announcement during a briefing at the DHQ in Abuja.

The individuals are: Abu Khadijah, Abur Rahman, Dadi Gumba, Abu Yusuf, Musa Wa’a, Usman Kanin Shehu, Ibrahim Suyeka, Ba Sulhu, and Idris Taklakse.

Buba confirmed that these individuals are from the North East and are involved in acts of terrorism.

KanyiDaily recalls that the Nigerian Army also confirmed the emergence of a new terrorist group called ‘Lukarawas’, which is contributing to the growing insecurity in Nigeria’s northwest region.
