The list of 2025 Grammy nominees was recently announced, and many Nigerian music heavyweights like Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Tems, Rema, Asake and Lojay, all received nods in various categories.
In response to Tems’ three nominations, South African artist Tyla congratulated her on social media, acknowledging her achievements leading up to the 67th Grammy Awards.
Tems reacted to the news on Twitter (formerly known as X), revealing that her phone has been buzzing with messages and calls ever since the nominations were revealed.
Grateful for the journey, the “Free Mind” singer expressed her thankfulness, highlighting how God has blessed her.
In her post, she wrote, “Phone buzzing at 5am in Melbourne!!! All I can say is Wow GOD IS GOOD!!🥹🥂🥳🕊️”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Tems previously won her first Grammy in 2023, taking home the Best Global Music Performance award for her feature on “Wait for U” alongside Future and Drake.
