American Rapper, Saweetie Arrives Nigeria For Detty December In Lagos [Video]

American rapper Diamonte Valentin Harper, popularly known as Saweetie, has arrived in Nigeria for the Detty December celebrations, delighting fans with her surprise visit.

The 31-year-old music sensation arrived in Lagos on December 23, 2024, and her arrival was documented in a series of Instagram posts.

In the video, Saweetie could be seen making her grand entrance in an all-white ensemble complete with a stylish hat.

She was warmly welcomed with a bouquet of flowers as she stepped off the plane, surrounded by her entourage and flashing paparazzi.

The rapper shared a video of herself driving through the bustling streets of Lagos, captioning it with the Yoruba greeting “Ba wo ni,” which translates to “How are you?”

Saweetie also shared moments of her enjoying Lagos, including mirror selfies taken at a local restaurant.

This visit follows the arrival of other American stars such as Chloe Bailey, Gunna and South African singer, Tyla who have also come to Nigeria to take part in the vibrant Detty December festivities.
