American pop star and actress, Selena Gomez is engaged to record producer and songwriter, Benny Blanco.

Selena Gomez shared the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a photo of her diamond ring alongside a cozy picnic setup and happy snapshots of the couple.

Her caption read, “forever begins now.” Blanco responded in the comments, saying, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

The couple’s engagement drew congratulations from numerous celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, and Julia Michaels.

Selena Gomez, 32, and Benny Blanco, 36, made their relationship public about a year ago.

They’ve worked together on several tracks, such as Gomez’s 2023 hit “Single Soon” and their earlier collaboration, “I Can’t Get Enough,” in 2019.

Benny Blanco, a renowned producer, has co-written hits for major artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Britney Spears.

In addition to her entertainment career, Selena Gomez owns Rare Beauty, a successful cosmetics brand.

In September, Bloomberg reported her net worth had reached $1.3 billion, making her one of the youngest self-made billionaires in the U.S.
