Chrisean Rock’s Ex-Boyfriend, Ronny Doe Shot Dead After Claiming He’s Father Of Her Child

Karon Makhai Cann, also known as Ronny Doe, the ex-boyfriend of American TV personality Chrisean Rock, was shot dead in Maryland.

The incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. on February 3, 2025, just weeks after Ronny Doe publicly claimed to be the father of Chrisean Rock’s son instead of rapper Blueface.

According to police, the 24-year-old was found with gunshot wounds outside a home in Severn, Maryland, about 25 minutes from Baltimore.

Officers provided medical assistance at the scene before paramedics transported him to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he later died.

Authorities have classified the case as a homicide, believing the shooting was a targeted attack. Investigations are ongoing.

Ronny’s uncle shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing deep sorrow over his nephew’s death.

He wrote, “This feels like a nightmare. I been up crying all night. I’m not suppose to bury you nephew, you suppose to bury me.

“Karon before Elijah was born you were the closest I had to a son. I haven’t felt like this since I lost my father.

“I watch you grow up and been there every step of the way. It hurts so bad that your life was taken but I know your at peace now.

“[I’m] praying for justice so we all can have closure. I love you and will truly miss you. R.I.P Karon (Nephew.).”

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2023 when Chrisean Rock announced that she was expecting a baby with Blueface, he denied being the father of the child and demanded proof she was carrying his baby.
