Gospel Singer, Paul Nwokocha Reveals Why He Divorced His 2nd Wife After One Year [Video]

Nigerian Gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has confirmed the end of his second marriage, just a year after tying the knot with his wife, Goodness.

Paul Nwokocha married Goodness in September 2023, only a month after his first marriage to Alice ended.

At the time, he publicly praised his new wife, even dedicating songs to her on their wedding day. Many assumed their bond was strong, especially since they came from the same hometown.

Explaining his quick remarriage, Nwokocha had previously stated that he did so because the Bible teaches that “Paul Nwokocha should not be alone.”

However, their union was short-lived after one year with reports indicating that Goodness’ family has returned her bride price to Paul Nwokocha’s family.

In a recent video, the singer revealed that he ended the marriage after discovering that Goodness had been taking and sending nude photos of herself to other men.

Calling the act “evil,” Nwokocha made it clear that such behavior was unacceptable to him saying: “I divorced my second wife because I caught her sending nude photos to other men.

“If I marry someone today and find out that the person I married is doing an abominable thing before God and man, I will send you out of my house”

Addressing public criticism, he defended his decision, stating, “I married a wife not a wh0r£, so I owe no one apology for this. Stop calling me names. He who wears the shoe knows how it pinches.

“How would you feel if the woman you call your wife was taking nude videos and sending them to other men?” he asked.
