47-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Rαping His 2-Year-Old Stepdaughter In Gombe

Gombe State Police Command has arrested a 47-year-old man, Mohammed Magaji, who allegedly raped his 2-year-old stepdaughter in Tudun Wada Shamaki Quarters.

In a statement on Tuesday, Gombe police spokesperson, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, said the arrest was made following a complaint by Magaji’s wife.

On 05/05/2025 at about 0932hrs, a formal complaint was received from one Hauwau Usman “F” of Tudun Wada hamaki quarters reported that on 5/5/2025 at about 0900hrs, her husband took his two-year-old stepdaughter to his room and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her,” the PPRO stated.

“Upon the receipt of the complaint, a team of policemen drafted to the scene and arrested the above named suspect.

“The victim was rushed to a specialist hospital for medical attention.

“The case will soon be charged to court upon completion of the investigation,” the statement reads.
