The body of a 26-year-old Lagos banker, Osemudiamen Idemudia, who had been missing for several days, has been found in a mortuary in the Yaba area of Lagos State.

Idemudia, who worked at a commercial bank in the Ikota area, was last seen on the evening of May 9 around CMS on Lagos Island.
His family had been searching various hospitals and mortuaries across the state since his disappearance.
A relative, identified as Segun, confirmed that Osemudiamen’s body was found on Sunday, May 18.
According to him, the body had deep machete wounds on the head, face, and legs, suggesting he was violently attacked and murdered.
“We have found Osemudiamen’s body. He was murd£red. We found the body on Sunday in a morgue at Yaba with machete cuts on his head, face, and legs. I’m so sad,” Segun said.
Segun also revealed that mortuary workers told the family the body was brought in by police officers.
However, when the family asked where the police had picked up the body from, the staff couldn’t give a clear answer.
They also didn’t have any information about the officers who dropped off the corpse, which added to the family’s confusion and concern.
Segun said: “The staff members of the morgue claimed that the body was brought in by the police but when we asked where they brought the body from, they could not provide an answer.
“They said they did not have details of the policemen who brought the corpse to their facility. That made the discovery more complicated.”
Osemudiamen was laid to rest by his loved ones on Tuesday, May 20.
Meanwhile, Nigerian stylist Ejiro, who was believed to be missing for weeks, has finally spoken out to set the record straight.
