It was gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Friday, June 27, after discovering they weren’t registered for the 2025 National Examinations Council (NECO).
Sources say the students were furious after finding out that, despite each of them paying N85,000, their principal, Mr. Isaac Yina, allegedly failed to register them for the exam.
A total of 178 students were reportedly affected by the NECO exam scam.
