Father Furious After Kwara Supermarket Denied Him Entry Over His Baby’s Looks [Video]

A father has expressed his frustration after staff at a supermarket in Emirate Mall, Ilorin, Kwara State, allegedly refused to let him enter because of his daughter’s physical appearance.

The man, dressed in white traditional clothing, had brought his child, who is dressed in pink, to the mall during the Eid holiday.

As he tried to enter the store to buy groceries, employees reportedly turned him away because of his daughter’s condition.

Angered by the incident, the father spoke out in a video saying: “This is a supermarket….she is also a child like other children here. Those children are not crying. They welcomed them. Now the staff are walking us out because of my baby. No problem.”

Later in the video, the dad is seen comforting his little girl, cheering her up to make sure she didn’t feel upset by the way they were treated.

The video has sparked reactions online, with many condemning the alleged discrimination by the Kwara supermarket.
