Kendrick Lamar Wins Big At 2025 BET Awards [Full List Of Winners]

The 2025 BET Awards lived up to its reputation as a major celebration of Black culture, with comedian Kevin Hart hosting a night full of big wins and memorable moments.

The event honored the best in music, movies, TV, and sports, bringing together top artists and rising stars.

Kendrick Lamar was the biggest winner of the night, taking home four awards.

His latest album, “GNX”, won Album of the Year, and he also claimed Best Male Hip Hop Artist.

His hit music video “Not Like Us” won Video of the Year, and his collaboration with SZA, “Luther,” earned Best Collaboration.

Lamar also shared the Video Director of the Year award with his longtime creative partner, Dave Free.

SZA won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, while Chris Brown took Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. The duo Future & Metro Boomin won Best Group thanks to their chart-topping album.

Leon Thomas, a former child actor turned solo artist, won Best New Artist, and Doechii was named Best Female Hip Hop Artist.

Summer Walker’s emotional song “Heart of a Woman” won the BET Her Award, and GloRilla, Kirk Franklin, and Maverick City Music won the Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for “Rain Down on Me.”

In film and TV, Cynthia Erivo won Best Actress, and Denzel Washington took home Best Actor. The popular biopic “Luther: Never Too Much” won Best Movie.

One of the night’s most exciting moments was Blue Ivy Carter winning the YoungStars Award, showing she’s following in her famous parents’ footsteps with her talent and style.

In sports, Angel Reese was named Sportswoman of the Year for her continued success on and off the court, while NFL star Jalen Hurts won Sportsman of the Year for his leadership and performance.

The 2025 BET Awards proved to be another unforgettable night, celebrating both established legends and the next generation of stars.
