The video, shared by a user named Michael on X (formerly Twitter), shows the officers trying to force their way into an apartment in the Adebayo area.
In his post, Michael accused the officers of attempting a robbery in broad daylight and called on the police to take action.
In response, the Complaint Response Unit acknowledged the video and asked Michael to provide more information to help them carry out a proper investigation.
The Police Complaint Response Unit reply reads” Dear #MichealFrosh32, kindly provide more details via DM, thank you for bringing this to the attention of the Police force. #NoToImpunity.”
The incident has sparked concern online, with many Nigerians demanding a full investigation and accountability for any wrongdoing.
